Dr. Paul Turek is recognized as one of the world’s top male reproductive health and fertility physicians and surgeons. He is a board-certified urologist and former Full Professor and Endowed Chair in Urology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Turek graduated from Yale College with highest honors (summa cum laude), Phi Beta Kappa, and went on to receive his medical education at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in leading medical journals. Much of this research—specifically investigating low sperm count, poor sperm motility, and hormonal imbalances related to infertility—was funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Every year, Dr. Turek’s clinical and surgical work in male reproduction and sexual health helps thousands of couples from all parts of the globe successfully conceive children. He founded the world-renowned Turek Male Fertility and Sexual Health Clinics in Beverly Hills, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Dr. Turek is also proud to be a founding board member and physician at Clinic by the Bay, a non-profit medical clinic offering free medical care in San Francisco.

Consistently named one of America’s Best Doctors by seven accrediting organizations, Dr. Turek has been featured in The New York Times, WebMD, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post and other major media as well as NPR, Goop, Mel Magazine, and Good Morning America. As an award-winning, prolific blog writer, he contributes to such outlets as WebMD and the Washington-based Men's Health Network, a national non-profit organization based in Washington, DC.

Dr. Turek also serves as a consultant to industry and the U.S. government on matters relating to male reproductive health. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the Societe Internationale d’Urologie and the Royal Society of Medicine (UK). Dr. Turek has also been an Executive Council member and President of the American Society of Andrology.
